I need some help getting my new computer up and running with my wireless Internet.

I bought a Dell Inspiron 545 with Vista 64 and I'm trying to connect my Belkin Wireless G USB Adapter (model K7SF5D7050A - a version 2). I suspect I can't connect to the Internet because I don't have the right driver for Vista 64.

    I've been here:

    http://www.belkin.com/uk/support/article/?lid=enu&pid=&aid=7147&scid=0

And I've downloaded the Ralink RT257x driver it suggests but had no luck. It says 'Windows could not find the driver software for your device'.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi

Give this driver from Gigabyte a go as its based on similar chip from ralink, you may need to manually update the driver

So open Device manager and click to open your belkin hardware, then click the Driver tab then update driver > choose browse my PC for driver > Let me pick from list > network adapters and then click have disk and browse to the location of the unzipped folder you downloaded earlier from gigabyte and install and follow prompts.
