Help With Vista Ultimate Problems

I have been trying to install a program Agent Office real estate program. I had it installed successfully when my client attempted to install a version upgrade and blew everything up. I used both the windows uninstall and removed everything and then used perfect uninstaller to clean everything out. When I attempt to install the original program I was getting the 1607 Install Shield Scripting error error. I have made sure permissions are correct, turned off UAC, copied files into the program directory but now all I get is Invalid Program/System directory. Can anyone help me get this program loaded? Sorry for wordy question.

 

I have also created a new windows temp folder, guess I have tried everything I can find on google. I really need suggestions

 

Try re-downloading the file. If you can't re-download, contact their customer service and ask for a new copy of the download. Sounds corrupted to me.

 

The program I am trying to install is on a dvd, loads fine on other machines.

 

Any other suggestions or do I just do a system recovery?

 

If you do a system restore to the point just before you installed it the first time it should allow you to re install.

I had the version 9.1 working on two vista machines. Client bought the version 10 upgrade ($195) and it didn't install right, don't know what happened, wasn't there. After the failed install, version 9.1 no longer worked thus the problem. Maybe I should give the version 10 another run. This companys tech support has been useless thus far although it have been my client trying to work with them, don't return calls or answer emails.

Did the F11 thing after backing up data and all is well. Thanks for suggestions.
