HELP with Webmediaplayer removal

my husband downloaded a Webmediaplayer tool to watch video, I have removed Viewpoint from the computer, I ran all the spyware tools I could possibly think of, I went through your forum and found a similar problem in Http://forums.majorgeeks.com/archive/index.php?t-138057.html and followed to the letter all the steps, but I am still desperate. Every time I open a webpage whether it is in IE or Firefox (especially one containing videos), another window opens advertising spyware products or simply advertising windows. I have Winsnapped a few and attached them to this email to show what I get.
CAN ANYBODY HELP ME PLEASE????:cry
