Help with Win32/Ramnit. A virus please

Happilly browsing the internet , usual finance and football sites, when AVG starting going bananas with multiple virus threats.

Have read the read me post and worked my way through everything in there, but running ESET on line scanner post all those checks the virus is still there. described on ESET as Win32/Ramnit. A virus, as well as other threats it has found, eg ' a variant on Win32/Kryptik.HVVL Trojan'

I could not run ComboFix as the progarmme would not run with AVG. I disabled AVG, still would not work. I tried to delete AVG using the add/remove programmes facility, but it would not let me uninstall it.

-can't even get the computer to boot up now, even in safe mode.
-have take the computer to a local firm I know to see if they can sort it.

-So please don't anyone spend any time on this till I see what they say, as I don't want to waste anyones time.
