Help with Word 2007

Hey,

I need some help. I have this word file and I want to remove the first 40 characters in the file I have attached. I have tired a lot of things and I can't get it. Please HELP!!!

I'm not sure what you mean by the first 40 characters? I don't seem to have any problem removing any text. Are the characters letters?

 

I can remove the text i just don't want to hightlight 300 lines and then delete. I just want to keep the names of the movies after the date and the file size. For Ex:

Before

01/21/2010 01:35 AM 1,588,944,896 1 Day.avi
12/06/2009 01:08 AM 733,634,560 2012 CD 1.avi
12/06/2009 01:08 AM 734,705,664 2012 CD 2.avi

After

1 Day.avi
2012 CD 1.avi
2012 CD 2.avi

 

I'm not proficient in Word.

Try doing the generating the list using the dir /b >movielist.txt command. You can then open that file in Word and save it as a .doc file if you like.

If you then want to doublespace the file in Word it is easy just Open Help and Search for Double Space it gives two options.
