help with XP 2009

I noticed that this new rogue strain of XP Antivirus 2009 would not let me open the README & RUNME First programs like spybot and super antispyware. I also noticed this problem cropping up in other forum posts. I just wanted to add my experience that I had some luck renaming the executables for these programs, and they run OK, but I'm not sure they seem to be as effective as they usually are. Just my 2 cents.

When you rename the installation file and install, it scans, detects and removes just like it would normally. I would recommend completing all of the scans in the READ ME and attaching all of the requested logs.
