HELP - worm.win32.netsky problem

    Hello,
    I got this virus on a friends laptop.
    I tried using AVG, Kaspersjy in both normal and safe mode but no luck.
    Does anyone have any ideas on how to kill this thing?
    Popups keep cominf up and there is 3 new desktop icons that appear everytime I reboot the laptop. Also the IE homepage is changing to some virus protection site.

    Any help is appreciated,
