Depends on the medium. Not all CD players will play songs from the Internet. How old is the CD player?

I use this to convert MP3's (and TONS of other audio formats) to standard CD audio format (CDA) and to burn the music to CD just for playback in my car. It works like a champ, and I've never had a bad burn! Be sure to burn at lower speeds (like 8x or 16x max); higher speeds can produce high pitched or 'tinny' sounding CD's..... anyway, check it out. It's free, easy to use, and you'll love it!

okay, is it another burning program? if so or if not what do I do to change the format to cda? I am an idiot when it comes to some things and I've been trying media player (hubby accidentally deleted easycd when working on the computer one day), nero cd burning (crap) and now cdbxp. when I put the cd into the stereo is says no disc....will this do it?

The program I linked to above (it's called "Burrrn") will convert MP3's and lots of other formats to CDA (standard audio). It will also burn the converted music to CD's so you can play them in any regular CD player. I have used Burrrn MANY times and never had any trouble with it. Simply launch Burrrn after you install it; browse to where your MP3's are; drag the MP3's you want to convert/burn into the Burrrn main window; when you're ready to burn, make sure you have a blank in the CDRW drive, make sure that the burn speed is set for 16x or less (otherwise you may get high pitched whiny squeeling music), and click the big "Burrrn" button and let it do its thing. It's really very easy ;)

NOTE: Be sure to keep an eye on the CD length time... most CD's will hold 80minutes of standard audio. I've had best results when I put less than 76 minutes of music on a CD. Why? Who knows. Occasionally when I've gone over 76 minutes, some CD players wouldn't play the disc correctly, or wouldn't even recognize the CD. Every CD I've created with Burrrn under 76 minutes has always played perfectly.

mp3's are working fine, but the wma files don't seem to allow any add to the list. any suggestions on changing their format from wma to mp3 or cda? :confused

This program will convert your WMA files to WAV files for burning to CD.
It’s a free program and I’ve been told that it’s quite good, but I haven’t used it myself so I can’t personally vouch for it. As with any freeware: beware of attached Spyware.
    Go here: http://www.dirfile.com/sc_free_audio_converter.htm
Hope it does the job for you.
