help!

help, i am unable to view certain web pages, microsoft thing comes up and page is taken away, any ideas?:cry

Can you be a little more descriptive about the problem? Are you getting error messages, give us a quick rundown of your computer specs, what kind of network are you on, firewalls, and what is the MS 'thing' that takes it away?

he has windows xp, have dsl 54 mbps, norton for firewall and virus. this problem is on my son's computer, he has the same dell computer i have and same opsystm and norton. he can go to some webpages and everything is ok both http and https, he was having problems only going to https sites but now he can go to some pages that are secure. he is a dish network installer and he cannot go to his work page which is secure. the webpage starts loading and then the microsoft error box displays on the screen and asks if he wants to send the error report. then it just ends the web page and you are taken off internet explorer. we emptied cookies, files, norton scanned, went thru what microsoft told us to do........he can view "some" pages but not his work page. ??
