    Hi,

    Have followed to the letter chaslang's sticky instruction, and keep trying to upload scan results and it just keeps telling me that attachment is in progress.
    What am i doing wrong.

    Hi,
    Re last post, I Have now managed to upload the scan results. On the last scan, spybot found the following entries in Red

    Microsoft windows securitycentreantivirusDisablenotify
    Microsoft windows securitycentreAntivirusUpdateNotify and
    Winsoftware.WinAntiviruspro2007

    are they virus's ? do you think, they look like something to do with security.

    I have done everything chaslang said in his sticky, do i need to Toggle system restore having found the above entries.

    You need to use MSconfig to put your PC in normal startup mode as requested in the READ ME. Do this now and keep it that way.

    Was this while running the READ & RUN ME or afterwards. Did you have Spybot fix what it found? Only the WinAntiviruspro2007 item is an issues and ComboFix removed most of it.

    Is Spybot still detecting WinAntiviruspro2007? If yes, attach a log from Spybot.


    Your logs are basically clean since ComboFix remove your problems. You just need to delete the below files

    Hi Chaslang,

    Here is the log you requested from Spybot SD and yes i did all the read and run first and then found the above.

    I have Run Msconfig and put it into Normal mode.

    How do i delete the files you told me to remove. ?

    Okay what Spybot is finding is just a folder. You need to delete the below folder:

    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\WinAntiVirus Pro 2007


    Are you saying that you do not know how to use Windows Explorer to locate and delete files and folder??? Right click Start and select Explorer. This will bring up Windows Explorer. Then you just navigate to the correct files or folder and right click on them and select Delete.
