Hi guys, I originally posted in the software forum, but they had me do the scans you have in the read me thread. I ran them all, and only found one instance of ad ware. I have attached the logs, as instructed.

    Here is my problem:
Everytime I open up a folder that contains either movie files, or pictures, the computer freezes up, and I get a microsoft error. If I ignore the error, and move the message aside, after a few, a posrtmortem dr watson error comes up. freezes everything, including my cursor. I then have to manually (using tab buttons) do the ctl-alt-delete function to close out the window.

Everything else seems to work tiptop shape. Any ideas?

    I appreciate all your help.

Oh a couple of things, I'm downrange, and the only connectivity I have is through shared computers at the MWR. I cannot connect my laptop to the internet. Also, I have an XP. Thanks again.

the MGLogs zip file is not complete.

The other logs didnt seem to indicate anything odd. I suspect it is more an OS issue, though.

If you can, when you open the folder, click "view" and then "details" instead of like "thumbnail" or "filmstrip". See if that helps.

Also, what is the error message you get?
