Id say a few of those things in ur %systemroot% are spyware, i would suggest running Ad-aware, which can be found on the local main MG site. www.majorgeeks.com ....btw, welcome to MG

Windows XP is what my computer was set up with, I hope that is what you meant....lol.
I will download what you all suggested and hopefully that helps, I also did go to start, run and config and some things in there I have no clue what they are, can you remove most processes? or are some needed for startup?
I used to be computer knowledgable....lol, not anymore.
Thank you all, you are all great! ;)

this is what I was saying-Often times, spyware (otherwise known as adware that displays ads on your machine, or takes surveys or notes things that you do and sends it to people I guess is what spyware also is) are often times put into your windows directory, in which for you is C:/windows
let me enlighten you a little....
Smss.exe-Never heard of it- Probably spyware, or a program you installed
Services.exe is a standard windows function-no worries their
Isass- I have no clue either, like i said probably spyware or a program you installed
SVChost -both are windows related, no worries their
Explorer.exe-this is what displays your desktop/Startmenu and junk-No worries their
Lexbces-Perhaps has to do with a lexmark printer? either an app you installed or spyware
    Spoolsv.exe-System RElated-No worries
Lexpps.exe I take it the same as Lexbces

    -Norton Related

    these should explain themselves.....

Umm this may look a lil suspisious

EDIT: Correction: Smss.exe Is a Windows System File-No worries

Also do as Robo suggested and go to Black Viper. That guy is the best. I was amazed as to how much memory & resources you can reclaim buy stopping alot of those "Services" from running.
