help

Can anyone help me with this problem. I followed the instructions on the site to scan my computer for the about blank virus. When I got to the point that I needed to boot into safe mode I went in through entering "msconfig" in the run menu. The computer restarted but now a screen appears that apologizes for windows not being able to restart. It gives me the option of a normal re-start, a safe boot, a safe boot with network, or safe boot with command prompt. I have tried all of these but it simply restarts and returns to this page. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have baby pictures of my newborn on this computer that I would hate to lose.
