Hi, I spent 4 hours on this site completing the steps on the Read This page, and my browser kept Not Responding every few minutes. I realize that I downloaded the Hijack This program into the wrong area, but my computer has frozen 5 times in the last 10 minutes, and I'm really frustrated. My problems are the freezing of my browser, the popups, and the about:blank problem. Also, somehow something broke into my yahoo messenger and sent messages to everyone on my list. I will attach all the logs that I have, please help...Thank You

    Welcome to Majorgeeks!

You have a bunch of problems! Let's start with SpywareQuake. Run the below procedure and attach the rquested Smitfiles.txt log when finished.

    SpywareQuake & SpyFalcon Removal Procedure

Then also attach a new HijackThis log so we can work on your other problems.

1.I have autodisk.dll not autodisk32.ll like the file suggests, should I delete this?
2.I do not have %System32%\dcomcfg.exe but I do have %System32%\dcomcnfg.exe (the file on my comp has an N in the name..)
3.I do not have %System32%\users32.exe But I do have a file %System32%\user32.exe (mine has no s)
    4. There were 4 files in my Temp folder that it said I could not delete

Please tell me what to do with the above files..
You also asked me to tell you the status of my spyware quake or something, I didnt know I had it, and I never found it in any of the places I searched per your instruction, sorry I cant answer what the status is, lol.

I only found like 4 of the files on the list of what to look for, was I supposed to find them all?

I cant find the smit file u want although i did run the program

First a general comment! Only delete exactly what we tell you to delete and nothing else. And the procedure does not say to delete autodisk.dll it says autodisc32.dll . You must be very careful when reading filenames and when giving us filenames.

No! The procedure even tells you that.

Look again. It is there. It should be in the root folder of the drive you ran the program from. Normally this would be C:\smitfiles.txt
