"Here Are Your Heroic Search Results" ?

I was oppening the page www [dot] bloggspot[dot] com (I guess i miss typed it) a this page showed up www [dot] bloggspot [dot] com/index.asp and the pop-up blocker stopped about 2 pop-ups but still one of them managed to open.
It looks like a search page but now when I type an unexistent site the pop-up blocker is always making that distinctive sound when it blocks a pop-up.

I guess this cant be normal, do you have a idea what is causing this and how can i fix it?

Im sorry, please re explain that for me. A pop-up comes up everytime you visit where? And it makes a certain noise? Please elaborate so I can assisst you further.

 

Sounds like adware to me, from what I understand with your problem. Download AVG free, update it, then do a scan. It could have infected you and is advirtising its own site.

 

AVG alone (or any other tool) will not remove all malware.

If you suspect malware please run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:

When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)

• Bitdefender
• Panda Scan
• HijackThis
