Take it with a grain of salt.

AOL Browser, rated 2.33. Why, I guess because its AOL? I ran it before posting, attractive interface, tons of option, easy to use. There no reason for this to be rated this low except for people being naive and didnt try it. If you try it and rate it objectively, I can not see it being rated below a 3.

I went and looked at some ratings. I only looked at some spyware and some browsers. Most everything I looked at rated over four or zero, the zero would be a non rating. MSN Explorer rated 1 and IE rated 1.

No, we always wanted to do that, its user comments you will never, ever see here. People can not simply grasp the review concept and end up arguing or making false statements. Since we test everything before posting, user comments are really not need and can only cause more grief then worth :)

I had given the AOL browser a try and I didn't like how it was slower and the program was a bit of a resource hog for me. The interface was nice and all, but I also didn't like how you had to keep it open.

Well, personally I don't think AOL Browser is "geeky", which qualifies a 2 on the rating (being "not geeky"). Its an OK program, IMO, but isn't nearly flexible enough to be considered geeky in my books. :)

And you would be wrong. Firefox you would not say that about, yet its the same basic engine. Of course, I didnt consider that Jim put that wording in there and its not appropriate, it should be Excellent to poor, the wording geeky is misleading, a lot of programs we have here are not geeky. Good point.

well, if its built with the security interface of aol 9.0, I hate it simply because any customer i have cant use it. it's SO secure, it wont allow the program to update, download or transmit information, thinking it must be a virus. (it kinda is, i mean its tax software)

Other than that, hey... what ever works for you.
