Is this build ok? its my second one
    Cooler Master Elite 120
Gigabyte GA-Z87N-WIFI LGA 1150 mini ITX Intel Motherboard
    Intel Core i5 3570K 3.4GHz
    Corsair Dominator Platinum Series 16GB
    EVGA 01G-P4-3656-KR NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST 1024GB PCI-e 3.0 x16 Video Card
Enermax UCTB8 T.B. Silence 80mm Twister Bearing Case Fan
Enermax T.B. Silence 120MM PWM Fan
These are the parts I want to use
im really scared of messing up like I did with my last one.

    Greetings, RainbowDash.

I'm not a fan of mini-ITX cases - for that matter I'm not a fan of mini cases of any type. Is there some particular reason for going 'mini'?

Also, I notice that you're not listing a power supply unit. Whatever you do, don't scrimp on the PSU - in my opinion the power supply is the most important component of a computer system.

Me either, it looks an incredibly complicated tight fit inside that case and the wiring looks a nightmare, they really are designed for a small space only, nearly every other department you sacrifice a little something so unless THE most important factor is space get a regular desktop tower.

Also you can't add a second card for SLI as far as I can see which is the single most important and cost effect future upgrade where gaming is concerned.

Also agree with Caliban on the power supply, if you post a budget you'll receive more helpful replies:)

    CPU won't fit! S1155 won't work in S1150 ;)

That could be one noisy build, main issue being the stock 80mm fan at ~12mm deep, finding a slim replacement for that could be tricky.

What CPU cooling are you going to use and are you intending to overclock?

You'll be very limited for air cooling; the CPU socket is close to the PCIe slot, tall RAM modules will partially block front --> rear case cooling, leaving the 'board sitting in a pool of hot air, if you're not very careful with component choices.

It looks like there's only 1x PWM System fan header on the 'board.

For air cooling, I'd buy low voltage DDR3 1600 (no coolers, not needed) that barely show above the RAM slots.

The rear exhaust fan needs to be very quiet and running 100% (Molex connector), side fan as quiet as you can find, running 100% would be best but the noise might be too much (have the case to the right of you to reduce the noise level - until the GPU fan kicks in when gaming!), the front intake fan on PWM.

The PSU (I'd use a Seasonic/XFX 360 -> 450W) should be fitted intake upwards or the CPU/PSU fans will oppose each other.

I'd have to suggest getting a 'board with a more centrally placed CPU socket and more fan headers, it'll allow a greater range of cooling options. ASUS would be a good choice - except that their VRM daughter board blocks the airflow from the side case fan :(

What I will say is I am a big fan of airflow, and if you cram too much wiring and hardware into a small case, you're just asking for heat issues. When we deal with explosions of flammable gasses, we talk about expansion ratio. A similar principal is thermal expansion. Cold dense air relieves more heat than warm, expanded air. Also, cold dense air makes for better power in internal combustion engines.

My case is 12 years old now. I believe that hardware is an investment, and it involves what can be expensive purchases which should pay off long term. I've always said: Do it once, do it right, because doing it twice cost easily three times as much.

On a lighter note, one reason I love my case, are the attached pics. Check out the ears, on that bad boy, right?:-D She's a "classic".

Any rate, there's a lot of good advice here and as a bit of a hardware guru I advise against a mini-ITX build if you're going to be generating a lot of heat with resource intense applications such as gaming.
