Oh Really? Watch a typical episode of "Cops"; moronic behavior is nationwide, not just in Florida.

 

I dont get cops attitude,why are they all so arrogant theres no need for it,obviously the uniform gives them power and go's to their heads,I wonder if they are tought to speak to people how they do

 

Yes, they are. It provides them with a "command presence". Similar techniques are taught in the correctional field.

 

I'd say no they aren't taught that way, there are just a lot of asses. Correctional field is a little different, as prisoners have no rights. Out on the street, its a different ballgame.


Cops out here can be fired for being obnoxious and not treating a person with respect.

 

Prisoners have rights. Just because they have been sentenced, that doesn't mean all their rights are automatically stripped.

Not to mention, the hard core ones have nothing to lose, whereas the officer does, mainly his life or getting a beating (it's in both their interests that they get along, and most do).


As far as cops, getting them fired is far easier said than done, proving it is the hard part.

Who's word are they going to take, a police officers or a civilian?


Only time I've seen them punished is when there are witnesses (or the victim is laying on a hospital bed), or it's captured on handycam.

 

i hope this guy was high or drunk or something, otherwise, this guy is just a plain moron.

 

Poor guy just did what we are all taught, namely that if you have a problem, go to a police officer.
