HEY , Ya im new and in trouble !!

im gettin a popup from my virus scanner for a potential threat called

TROJ_DLOADER.BIM and TROJ_DLOADER.AVX

there in a file called C;WINNT\?ppPatch , but when i open the folder , nothing is in it and it wont let me delete it. i ran a virus scan using system utilities 6 with all updated info and it says there are no viruses found

the winnt folder i mentioned above was created the 25th (saturday). i dont know where this came from and i have no idea how to get rid of it . its not in any virus encyclopedia and im gettin frustrated .

Can anyone help me ?????

Hi and welcome, to help you remove this pest, do please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.

- Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

- Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:

When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)

ok i didnt disable system restore yet , because it says not too untill all malware is gone from my system

i finished step 2 to enable hidden files ect.

i uninstalled all spyware and virus programs except the one i wanted which is V-coms system utilities 6

i DL all the tools except ,windows defender and windows malicious software removal tool. i couldnt install the removal tool and the defender said it couldnt be used

i completed all steps in steps 5 except defender

i ran counter spy aND here is the log

Please follow the directions in the message that Halo gave to you an then ATTACH the logs (do not post the logs inline like you did) . You need to completer Steps 0 thru step 7. Also please only attach the logs that we requested. We did not request a log from Spybot, but there are three other logs that are requested.

Also since you could not run Windows Defender and you installed CounterSpy, you need to ATTACH a fourth log, the log from CounterSpy. You said you posted the CounterSpy log but you did not.

You can only add three attachments to a single message, so it will take two messages to attach all four logs.
