    Right now i can't listen to any music or movie files from my computer. is there any way to add another sound card without purchasing one, providing that is the problem? Any help will be greatly appreciated.:cry

    No. To add a sound card, you must physically own the actual card. How you get it is up to you, but buying one is a very common way of acquiring a sound card. Maybe a friend has an extra. You can buy a decent 5.1 (6 channel) generic sound card for about $25 or less at just about any PC store. If you were thinking that there was maybe a "virtual" sound card, the answer is no. However, you have provided absolutely no details. This makes it very difficult to help you. Please read this thread. It is the first sticky here in the Driver Forum and it's there for a reason ;) Please read it, then post again.
