hidden partition removal

    Im running "ME" on an older P2 with a 4gb hard drive but I can only use 2gb. I've tried fdisk to remove the partition but I can't. "cannot remove the logical...blahblahblah" (I can't recall the proper phrase) I downloaded a demo of partition magic and it showed the other 2gb but i couldn't figure out howto remove the partition. It's probably a virus? I have no AV software....Canyou please help???

    Download the Ultimate Boot CD. You can use any of the free partition managers to delete the unwanted partition. You'll then have to increase the size of your primary partition, or make an extended partition; so, windows can now use that drive space.
