Hello I wonder if anyone can help. I am currently working on a Packard Bell PC with a MSI Halley (MS-6340) µATX motherboard with AMI Bios. The POST and boot sequence are all carried out whilst the text that is normaly visible (showing BIOS version, Date, CPU speed etc) is hidden. All that is shown is the manufacturers logo. Any idea how I can see the text again?

    Cheers guys

    Neil

there is an option in my BIOS in the "Advanced BIOS Features" menu called "Intel OnScreen Branding" that does something similar ... might try looking in that menu to see if there is a similar option

Most new motherboards have this feature, in the BIOS, you can usually select whatever to show POST info or not.
