Hide Ip Address Query?

Hi everyone,

hope you are all bug free (too much to ask I know, but hey..we can try)

1. Is there a compelling reason to want to hide ones IP address?

2. If so whats the best, easiest, cheapest method/software to achieve this?

Many thanks for any input. I have done a search on Hide IP address on Google and here but baffled.

Probably using a proxy server would work! However this is on the borderline of not really being a topic for the malware forum.

sorry again, thought hiding it might help avoid spyware and other security nasties.

For a few things it may help but I'm not sure it will be worth the trouble.

You could look into using a proxy! Perhaps the Networking Forum or the Software Forum are better places to discuss this.

Do a Google search on proxy server for more info.
