Hide Microft Recovery Console

    I had malware & one of the programs I used was combofix. It installed Microsoft Windows Recovery Console. Now when I turn on my pc the recovery consol opens. It is annoying. Is there a way to hide the console so it dont open?

    if you right click with you mouse on my computer on your desk top select properties from the drop down menu. in the dialog box that appears choosethe advanced tab then start up and recovery,in the next box at the top under default operating system should be set to micosoft windows xp or vista if it is set to the recovery console change it to your operation system.

    Thanks iwonderdownunder, but that didn't help. In computor=properties-dialog box is marked "MICROSOFT WINDOWS XP/ HOME EDITION / fastdetect/ NoExecute=option.

    I got it done. I set the time to display on 0.
