I posted a bunch of stuff on my icons and text being all jacked up, but no one was able to help me. First I thought it was my 64bit windows 7, but after changing my windows back to 32 bit I found out that it wasn't that.

After some more digging I found out it was my new laptops screen resolution. Apparently the higher resolution you get, the smaller the icons and text get. So I changed it back to 1280x800 and everything looks perfect.

So just a tip for those getting a fancy new computer, remember that unless you go in your settings and lower the resolution, then all icons and text will be smaller than your previous computers screen.

The point is not to lower the resolution, but to set the resolution to match the displays native resolution
