Hi. I got a high speed USB hub, 3.0, compatible with 2.0 ports. I got it so I could use my power hungry external network adapter (antenna). It has been working fine. But during the night last night, it stopped recognizing my antenna device and was not supplying power. The antenna works fine if plugged directly into my laptop, and all other devices I have in the hub are working fine. I've tried switching around which ports on the hub I was using. I tried a reinstall of both the antenna and the hub to no avail. Why would this happen, and can I fix it? It's an Amazon Basics 3.0 high speed 7 port hub, and an Alfa Wireless Network Adapter anntenna. Any idea? Thanks!

I had two burn out on me, if you have a heavy load you need a really good rated one.

Hey, thanks for the input. I kept messing with it yesterday and just repeated all the steps I'd done. At some point it started working again, and I don't really know why, but it's working now. So the mystery wasn't really solved, the at the problem has resolved itself.
