highscores gone with the wind...

I came back to MajorGeeks.com after a long break and guess what i found? ALL my Arcade highscores, awards and comments have been removed!!
I had 3 arcade awards ("space runner", "gone in 60 secs" and "bored meeting") but now all gone. The one who got 2nd highest got the awards. ARRRRRGG!

I dun really 'treasure' my arcade highscores that much coz i got only 3 in the first place. But still, i had like the top 20 highscores (filling 2 pages, w/o any other name in between) for "space runner" and they are all removed now. That just makes me annoyed. I had put lots of hours of gameplay for that.... i dun really mind about the other 2 games (although it'll be better if they never got erased).

I dun blame MajorGeeks for doing that coz hey, what if somebody gets a highscore that no one can beat and left MajorGeeks, right? but still, there should be like a "top score ever in this game was ______ by ______" or sumthing. dey do dat in some sites.

Looks like i hav to visit this site often...

Now at least i've conquered the first few topscores of space runner.....

 

I think they wipe the slate every couple of weeks. You'll have to stay in it to hold your titles.

i was pissed off .. but now my highscore is higher than it was before when i played the game again... so i'm not so pissed off now..

But wait... u wipe the scores off only if the person is inactive for about a month, right?

 

no, it's across the board. EVERYTHING goes.

 

U mean everyone's highscore vanishes every month....????!!! or am i wrong? Or do u mean everything vanishes for the one who hasn't been visiting the site (like me, for example)?
