What problems are you facing, is it popups, browser hijacks or various malware ( virii/trojans etc ) being found on your PC?

You do need to update your Windows version as its out of date, XP is now at SP3, so running an older version adn service pack has security issue.


Hijackthis is not a cure all tool, it will only show some issues relating to malware on your PC, to gain a full idea if your malware infected then the below guide needs to be run and the logs attached.

The goal of this area of the forum is to remove malware, so if your having issues with your Windows version being slow, BSODing etc then your question and more information on what your issue actually is would be better suited inthe Software forum area as this forum.


Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions. If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going. Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.
