    Hello again

About a month ago my PC (windows 7) was hit with a 'Windows denial service attack'. Thanks to your help, I followed your instructions and was able to get my pc running again.

I then kept my anti malware up to date (maleware bytes), installed a firewall etc..

MY PC was attacked again, so i ran the protocol suggested i.e. Root kill, Mg tools, etc. It seemed to be ok, but not 100%. So i decided to re-install Windows 7. It didn't install properly and I now have to boot from the last known working version. So I decided to re-format my entire hard drive - but the pc won't let saying there is a partition. I am not sure if this partition is from when i upgraded to W7 from XP, or something left by the attack.

When i attached my expansion drive, some files transferred across to it, so I think that too has become infected.

Any recommendations as to what I can do now before I dig myself further into a hole?

You would probably be better off posting in the Software Forum for help with reinstalling Windows. This does not sound like a malware problem. Perhaps you just need to delete all partitions and make one partition before formatting and reinstalling Windows from your Windows Boot DVD.
