Hijack Log.

I followed all the instructions in the sticky about removal of malware. I am attaching the hijackthis log here, please let me know if there is something I need to remove. After doing all the scans, I found one virus, and maybe one spyware. Some of the logs I couldn't save (Bitdefender, Panda didn't work at all) so please don't flame me.

Did you follow the instructions in the READ ME as in how to save the logs correctly?

Also, as a reference I will post the initial instructions.

• Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gif Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

• Make sure you also rename HijackThis.exe as suggested in the procedures. Use analyse.exe for the new name. This is very important due to some new infections going around..

• CounterSpy Log - only for Windows XP, 2K, & NT users
• AVG Antispyware Log - ONLY IF NEEDED you were not able to run CounterSpy. - only for Windows XP, 2K, & NT users
• Bitdefender Log - from step 6
• Panda Scan Log - from step 6
• runkeys.txt - the log from GetRunKey.bat
• newfiles.txt - the log from ShowNew.bat
• HijackThis Log

NOTE: You can only attach 3 files in a single message so it will require that you use two messages to attach all of these logs![/FONT]

 

Yeah, I followed all those instructions. I couldn't get the logs for counterspy and others since I either missed the option where I get the log or the application didn't have the button present to get the log. But if its necessary to get those logs, then I am not sure what to do. It was very time consuming to get those applications to do the scan.

 

It's very important for us to gather these logs. All of these scans and utilities are important, they are to help you get the junk of your system.

Without these programs and scans and not getting the logs, it makes it just about impossible for us to remove anything because we're not at the PC.

I need the following logs before we can procede.
