Hijack Log???

Could I please post my hijack log.I am pretty anal with this Spyware stuff.I spend 10-20Hours a week scanning with your tools.My problem is my Internet Has lagged big time since I removed Norton Antivir and firewall and Installed Zone alarm pro and Avg.My 7 year old computer is faster now on internet speed???

Actually standard cleaning procedures must be followed first before looking at a HijackThis log. They are given below. Uninstalling Norton should have speed thing up. Your sentence seems to say your connection is slow (lagged) and then it says it is faster????? Seems contradictory.

Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.

- Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

- Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:

Sorry,My 7 year old computer is my spare computer(which is ok).I installed AVG and Zone alarm on Both Computers removing Norton.My main computer lags now.My old computer is faster on internet browsing.I have ran my Hijack logs on those HJ scanners that Major A has on the sticky and have no nastys for a year now.I constantly run MS antispyware Spyware blaster ewido,trojan hunter,sb search destroy adaware se.I have had no major problems for a year spyware wise since I followed your sticky..and I do this weekly a bit here and there.I really don't think I have spyware on my main computer(which is slow on the net since removing NAV).I also did the symtec removal tool weeks ago and it is still lagging.I have everything set on High on ZA pro..maybe that's my issue??

If you do not think you have malware problems then why post in this forum.

HJT logs do not show many of the thousands of possible infections that a PC could have. That is one reason for running the other tools. All I can tell you is to either work thru the READ ME (which is constantly changed) so we can be sure there is no malware. Other than that, I would suggest posting in the Software Forum.

Maybe I should not have posted this.My History here shows I am paranoid.I leave my house to go in the back yard and I lock my door.My wife's gonna leave me if I go through those steps again.LOL.It is a weekly thing.I just cannot read HJ logs like you.I will post in Software and let u know how i make out.(I will also go through the read me again)

Doing the READ ME is the best way to be sure that you do not have malware problems which are causing your internet connection speed to slow down.
