Hijack This 1.99 Install Question

seems like a silly question but how do i uninstall my current version of Hijack This? It is not listed in Add/Remove programs... Thanks

 

Yes, Delete the folder where you saved it in. Right-click on the shortcut of HijackThis on your desktop, then click on "Properties" to see where the 'Target' field is pointing at.

 

As an alternative you can simply run Hijack This.

Open the Misc. Tools Section, at the very bottom of the options, there should be one called Uninstall Hijack This & Exit.

Click this and HJT will uninstall and exit.

Note: Doing the above removes registry settings & exits the program. After you do this remove the directory and any files associated with HJT as they previously mentioned.
