Hijack This Log....PLEASE HELP ME!

    Ok, so I got a virus on AIM the other day, ran virus scans, say they are clean, then it gets it again...i dont know what to do, this isnt my comp. a friend referred me to this hijack this site, i ran the scan and came up with this

    if you could help me at all it would be sooo great! i am reallyl getting frustrated. also since the virus, i cant open my hotmail from my msn, i get tons of popups, i cant use the new aim and my comp is really slow and sometimes delayed in typing.....thans again.

    Welcome to Majorgeeks!

    Please do not post any logs inline. They must be attachments. But before HJT logs can be posted, standard cleaning procedures must be followed.

    Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.

    - start by downloading and running: AIM Fix

    - Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

    Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

    - Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.


    After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:

    thank you, my computer is now working right again! Thank you sooo much for your help. sorry about the not having it as an attachment before, but i thank you very much for your help, i will deff refer people to this site when my friends need help.

    You're welcome! But why did you attach the HijackThis.zip file containing the executable program for HijackThis.

    If you were trying to attach the HijackThis log, you must attach BitDefender and PandaActiveScan logs too before we will read HJT logs.
