I've read through and used the instructions provided in creating my log files.

Did not use Bitdefender as it showed 48 hours to complete. I have used HJ a few times over the past years and you guys and girls are always helpful. This is a computer all my family uses and I wanted to make sure it is as clean as I can get it. No major problems. I will have a second computer to check once this one is complete. Thanks in advance for your help once again.

    Welcome to Majorgeeks!

You are in pretty good shape. Just a couple things to do.

    Uninstall the below software:
J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 8 <--- old version, we will install new below
Mozilla Firefox (1.5.0.8) <--- old version, we will install new below
Viewpoint Manager (Remove Only) <-- should have been uninstalled in step 0 of the READ ME
Viewpoint Media Player <-- should have been uninstalled in step 0 of the READ ME

And to make sure Viewpoint goes away (sometimes it will not), run the below tool:

    ViewpointKiller

Now install the current version of Sun Java from: Sun Java Runtime Environment

Then install the current version of FireFox from: Mozilla Firefox

Make sure viewing of hidden files is enabled (per the tutorial).

Run HijackThis and select the following lines (not malware but not needed at startup) but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [QuickTime Task] "F:\Program Files\QuickTime\qttask.exe" -atboottime
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TkBellExe] "F:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe" -osboot

    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.
Boot into safe mode and use Windows Explorer to delete:
    C:\WarezP2P_TDL.exe

    Now run Ccleaner.

    Now reboot in normal mode

Other than the above you are all clean. You should now check out the below:

Thanks for your help chaslang. I have completed the steps in your post. I will post my second computer logs sometime next week and hopefully with your help, it will be as easy as this first one!

    Cheers,

You're welcome! Take note of the things I just gave you (like Sun Java, FireFox, ViewPoint) and make sure you check those too. It could make my reply even more brief. ;)
