hijack this log

the problem on this pc is that when you try to browse to files through windows explorer everything locks up however when browsing with file open in office theres no problem. tried all the usual things with no luck, log file attached to see if anyone can shed any light on this

Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.

• Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support
• Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

• After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:

• When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)
  • Bitdefender
  • Panda Scan
  • HijackThis

Additionally your log shows 3 instances of msiexec.exe running; that would suggest a failed install of one or more pieces of software. The log also shows the McAfee AV installer running. I see incomplete installs for both AVG and McAfee.

Never install more than 1 resident Anti-virus scanner on your system. They will conflict with each other. Clean up both partial installs of AVG and McAfee. Then install 1 and only 1 AV scanner.
