HiJack this log.

Here is my HiJack this log can you guys take a look at it for me. I did all the recommended steps that were listed before this. let me know if i need to fix anything? Thanks

 

If you completed all the steps please attach the following logs. Also, are you having any problems?

• runkeys.txt - the log from GetRunKey.bat
• newfiles.txt - the log from ShowNew.bat
• CounterSpy - ONLY IF you were not able to run Windows Defender
• Bitdefender (Step 6)
• Panda Scan (Step 6)

 

I am not having any problems now. I ran all these programs. Bitdefender did not find a thing. But Panda Active Scan keeps telling me i Have a lot of spyware. Here are my logs. I appreciate the help greatly.

 

You have not run shownew and runkeys properly. Please make sure you extract all the files from the zip file to a folder. DO NOT RUN THE .BAT FILE FROM THE ZIP

All the files (apart from 1) in your active scan log are just cookies, don't worry about them. CCleaner should have removed at least some of them if you ran it.

Have you downloaded counterspy recently ? The last file in the activescan log is the counterspy installer and is probably a false positive (notice it says 'possible virus')

 

I ran ccleaner first again. then i re-ran those files the way you said.

I did have counter spy on my computer about a month ago b\c i couildnt get windows defender to work, but i have since removed it, i deleted that installation file today.

Goto Add/Remove programs in control panel and uninstal this:

is that the only bad thing i have? Because i like weather bug, does it add additiopnal spyware or anythign threatening

 

Weatherbug is a bit of a grey area, it is supported by ads. I guess if you want to keep it you can.

I guess is depends on your definition of bad. They claim they are not spyware
