Hijack This Report

    I have a Hijack This report that I don't really understand. I'd be grateful if someone took a look and gave me some pointers.

    Pointers for what? Are you having malware problems?

    Hello and thanks for the welcome.

    I've had my laptop crash a couple of times. It said it is out of memory or something. I suppose I should have stated that. It seems to run fine apart from that although sometimes it doesn't start properly and I have to hold the power down to turn it off then try again.

    Then you are posting in the wrong forum and HijackThis is not going to help you with any of those problems at all. You should post your problems with detailed error messages in the Software Forum.

    I understand. But my point is that HijackThis was primarily designed to help with browser hijackers. It is not a tool for debugging system crashes or memory issues. At least not all by itself. You should be looking at your Event Viewer logs and report them in the Software Forum. See this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308427
