HijackThis log differences

Okay...I am not worthy!!!!...plz help...

I have spyaxe and probably every other trojan my son could download.

I have tried the readme first and have had no luck. When I ran HijackThis the log contains a lot of lines but they were a little different from the ones I read in other threads. I attached my log...could you please tell me which ones I should remove?

Okay...followed the above but there were no HijackThis log files that matched. There are numerous problems still found...I attached the smitfile and panda logs. Is there a refernce to which log files I should delete in Hijack this?

I followed those instructions and attached the Ewido log, the new HijackThis log (hijackthis2.log) and the Uninstall list.

I tried to remove the "My Web Search" in Add/Remove Programs but I got a
"RUNDLL" window pop-up which said "Error loading C:\PROGRA~1\MYWEBS~1bar\1.bin\mwsbar.dll.
The specified module could not be found"

I checked in C:\Program Files and there is a "MyWebSearch" file with a "bar" sub file. It contains six files which are "F3BKGERR.JPG" "F3SPACER.WMV" "F3WALLPP.DAT" "M3FFXTBR.JAR" "M3NTSTBR.JAR" "MWSOEPLG.DLL".

I didnt skip to the Hijackthis scan. Didn't know if I should resolve the MyWebSearch thing first.

Again, I appreciate your assistance.

The six files mentioned above are in "C:\Program Files\MyWebSearch\bar\1.bin"

 

Wow..this is looking better and better! I did all the above. Two of the files to delete were not there (C:\documents and settings\d\local settings\temp\VNme7R.exe and C:\WINDOWS\hqpohar.exe). I am viewing all files including hidden files.

My Web Search (Smiley Central) is still in ad/remove programs but there is no longer a C:\Program Files\MyWebSearch folder.

what do you recommend for malware protection?
