History of Majorgeeks.com?

When did the Major Geeks Website start up? What is the history surrounding the creation of MG?

Was it founded by Major Attitude or Corporal Punishment or both?


I am sure that I am not the only person here to think that this is the best website of its' kind on the planet

 

Id love to know a bit more from one of you oldschool guys/gals...

Since fiding this site totally by accident, Ive searched for similar sites... Dont hit me!!!

But have found by just looking in other forums, people tend to just diss each other and call each other dumb. Here people can have a real low knowledge and people wont critisize they tend to adjust what they are saying to fit the person with the problem, no matter how computer illiterate they are.

As for downloads, Ive a had a few Trojan Downloaders, Ive had Adware, Spyware and Viruses. All from other sites. Now I only use the companys site who made the software or MGs.

And it was real interesting.

I try to answer posts here when I can but have a limited computer knowledge still. But I can say I have learned a hell of a lot more here in 2-3 months than I have in 10 months worth of computer magazines. I also start computer courses with the OU soon which should help!

I hope to be coming on here for years to come and maybee I will be a lot more helpfull by then! I give this site 10/10, and rate the people here higher than that. Ive been helped out of a few sticky situations here, and hope I can help others a bit too in return!

as with WAYNE i found this site by accident (i'm really glad i did) also i am a bit dumb when it comes to computers i am trying to teach myself how to work safely but do not have any professional help other than you guys n gals i am eternally grateful for the things i have learned here and will always be thankful for the way things are explained to us less mentally able members also you have built a unique club with people from all walks of life to meet and just chew the fat.

MAJOR A & CORPORAL P and all the others involved in this site you should feel really proud of you achievements. thanks for the forum.

I was looking for a small insignificant program known as "Adaware". When I searched it, I was linked to MG. That was about 70,000 members ago.
