    :confused Windows XP doesn't require any drivers for hard drives. If you could tell us exactly what the problem is, we should be able to get the drive working.

    you are right my friend!my problem is that i want to downgrade from vista to xp and i have this type of hard disk in my hp pc.and when i go to boot menu and i select boot from cd the cd driver can't read the cd.:(what can i do????
