hitch by sima

is anyone familiar with the hitch made by sima? i just purchased one and it seems to work well. i transfered a couple of albums to a friend's ipod without any problems yesterday. the problem that i am having is that i just docked my ipod and my computer asked me if i wanted to format my ipod with windows. my ipod already is formatted to windows, so i clicked "no" figuring that reformatting the ipod would erase all of my music. now my computer doesnt seem to know the ipod is docked and the ipod itself is frozen on the "do not disconnect" screen. please help! not sure if this is due to the use of the hitch or if its just a coincidence. either way any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks a lot.
