Hitchhikers Film out!

Went to see it today and yes, its brilliant

Original screenplay by Douglas Adams... and it shows Excelent film I'd recommend it to anyone. Good old infinite improbaility drive is a good source of humour, and the unlikley use of knitted stop frame animation is hillarious!

 

I'm glad to hear it. My signature of recent weeks shows how worried I was....

 

I gotta go see it!

I remember trying to listen to the audio cassettes back in the early 80's when I was sick with mono. It's a fantastic classic

 

It doesn't come out here until tomorow the 29th. I'm seeing it for my birthday

i gotta read the book sooner or later ... I promised my 8th grade teacher that I would finish reading it because I based my book report solely on the first chapter if he would give me a passing grade .. i hope that made sense >.<

 

Saw it last night. It's impossible not to have a few nitpicks, but overall I liked it a lot. Even with the vast improvement in special effects it managed to stay very British (Red Dwarf, Doctor Who etc) instead of taking on the American(Star Wars, Star Trek) look I was afraid of.

(Not that I have anything against Star Trek. Just not here...)

I still can't figure out why they needed Humma Kavula though.

 

Oh please do not nitpick it until all of us foaming to get in have seen it? I'm a douglas adams fan to the nth and i want to see it before i hear anything about it that i can't guess from reading everything he ever wrote.
