HJT Log concerns & Some items in msconfig startup have no name.

Sometimes the system freezes for a few minutes
maybe when creating a new folder for instance
I may have to wait a minute.

When I start Internet Explorer
Outpost Firewall reports:
'Process requests an outbound connection
c:\Program Files\ScanSoft\OmniPageSE2.
ophookse2.dll
wants to connect to the internet'

Some items in msconfig startup have no name.
I am also worried by the last 4 items in the HJT file starting with ;
O16 - DPF: {

I have carried out the following operations:

Ran Disk Cleanup
Set Normal Startup in MSconfig
Ran :
Ad-Aware with VX2 Plugin (VX2 showed clear)
AVG7
CW Shredder
Spybot Search and Destroy
Restarted and ran HijackThis - log posted

This is a valid process for OmniPage that you installed. It probably does not require internet access unless it is used for getting updates. You could deny it access and see how things work. You can always change it to allow later.

You can have HijackThis fix the four O16 lines.

Other than that there is nothing in your HJT log of concern. If you believe you are still having malware issues, the correct procedure to follow (before posting HJT logs) is given below.

Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.

Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:

When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)

Sorry, I'm a newbie and had read all the pre-post info and unfortunately misunderstood the procedure I thought I had to post the log before fixing anything, sorry. I will now go through all the steps and see what happens.

As I said in my previous message you only had one minor item (the O16 line). It is only necessary to run the READ & RUN ME if you are having malware issues and it is required before posting a HijackThis log. My point is, don't wast your time running it for no reason at all.
