    whoops sorry, forgot to include that. basically I think I had some virus attack recently, and seems to have suddenly made things slow up, and things load up really slowly, and it crashes every so often randomly for no reason. Just wondering if you can see anything which might be causing this.
    cheers

    Delete this:
    C:\Documents and Settings\David\Local Settings\Temp\mgsSetp.ClipRex.exe
    and any instances of Cliprex DS DVD Player that you can find.

    Use add/remove programs to uninstall:
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 11]

    Reboot and install:
    Java Runtime 6

    Run HijackThis and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)
    O9 - Extra button: PartyPoker.com - {B7FE5D70-9AA2-40F1-9C6B-12A255F085E1} - C:\Program Files\PartyGaming\PartyPoker\RunApp.exe (file missing) G
    O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: PartyPoker.com - {B7FE5D70-9AA2-40F1-9C6B-12A255F085E1} - C:\Program Files\PartyGaming\PartyPoker\RunApp.exe (file missing)

    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.

    Tell us what problems you are encountering.

    Now attach new logs for:

    * GetRunKey
    * ShowNew
    * HJT

    This does not appear to be a malware problem ....the slow startups can be caused by all the programs that are set to run at boot time ...you can remove them from your startup folder.
    As to random crashes ...it would be best to post in the software section after having right clicked my computer / properties / advanced / startup and recovery / and uncheck the box for restart on errors. That way you will get a BSOD and they can help you with the error code.

    Otherwise, your logs are clean and you can uninstall any programs that we had you download.
