No! That is not how things work. Are you having malware problems? If so, you should follow the steps below. If not, and you are just curious about a single item in your registry, post the line you are questioning only and we will see if it is enough for us to answer you.

If you are having malware problems, the below procedures must be follow which will lead to posting a HijackThis log if necessary.

Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.

    Please follow the steps below:

    - Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

    - Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:

    Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [CFSServ.exe] CFSServ.exe -NoClient

    Possibly nasty

    Hit rate: 5 % (result)
It seems that the name of this program is the same as the name of the file. In the most cases this is the result of trojans. To be sure, you should check this file.

*****THIS IS THE INFORMATION THAT WAS GIVEN BY WWW.HIJACKTHIS.DE/EN*****
We had no malware problems but thi item looked strange. Is it strange?

The file CFSServ.exe is part of Toshiba's configfree utility and searches for Wireless Devices. I should warn you of HIJACKTHIS.DE, this site is not very accurate and does show false detections, be careful when using this.
