I read the post about what to do first, but I am not good at computer jumbo stuff, I have had this thing for 2 years now, but still am a newbie! LOL:eek:
I have windows XP, I am not sure any other stuff you need to know, so just ask and I'll tell you! Thanks for your time and help!

Edit by chaslang: Inline HJT log removed. Cleaning steps not followed.

Oh yeah, I am getting the about;blank thing, and my computer is running wacky, won't pop up stuff when I click it twice, won't end stuff when I want.

    Welcome to MGs!

You do not have an about:blank hijacker problem.

Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.

    - Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

    - Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:

    Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis

    You should be using F8!

If that does not work for you then use the msconfig method that is discussed in that link.
