   this problem is one of the most common with HL 2 and there seems to be no fix for it.
   the exact error is "the instruction at "---------" referred memory at "---------". The memory could not be 'read'."
   
   can someone please help---- by the way, iv tried adding -dxlevel 70 at end of shortcut and -heapsize 256000
