Sounds promising but I won't be dancing in the streets until the process is peer reviewed and provable. There's just been too many scams around, in other words "I'll believe it when I see it'.

 

The theory was presented years ago, but never proven.

I read the story when it came out at physorg.com. What they aren't saying is the scientist has a history of bogus claims to bring in cash. He also hasn't produced any reactors for commercial use.

If someone claims something that is too good to be true, it probably is.

I don't hear of a patented process anywhere? When someone discovers something new they first patent the process to guarantee commercial rights. Upon patenting and publishing the findings in scholarly journals ect. the experiment is repeated by different teams around the world to confirm the results.

I can't see any mention of any of this,it would seems as with all scams they want skip all the painstaking study and paperwork and skip straight to funding a multi million dollar 1mw reactor.:confused

Why in the world would you post a couple of photocopied pages of a patent application? There isn't any scientific detail in WHAT SO EVER,just a few formal looking documents.

The way the patent system works there is no need to hide your findings,you have full commercial rights for the next couple of decades.

If you've just liberated mankind from the shackles of oil,won probably the greatest Nobel prize for science ever won there wouldn't be such secrecy around your findings,why would there be? If you've done it you'll become one of the most famous people in the world,money won't be a problem even if you never personally nurture a single reactor into production,you'll be the biggest thing since Einstein.
