    Hi everyone.

First of all, here is a simple diagram of my home network:

Sorry its not a very good picture, but you get the idea.

I've made numerous attempts to set up the home network using the network wizard, with little success. A couple of times I have had the odd PC able to pick up the shared drives and folders on another, but can't get all the machines connected and sharing properly.

I tried disabling all firewalls but still no luck. No windows firewalls are enabled on the machines. All the TCP/IP settings are on Automatic. They are also all in the same workgroup.

Some of the computer names appear in "My Network Places" but still do not list their shared files/printers and all I recieve is the following error message:

    Any ideas???

    Cheers!

first things first: right click your network connection on each machine and make sure "client for microsoft networks" and "File and printer sharing for microsoft networks" are all checked.
