Home page change

    Installing flash player, warning came up Home Page Change detected, changing MSN.Com to something I did not ask for. (http://search.conduit.com.... But, when I opt to block change, the warning keeps coming up. That effectively stops the loading of Flash Player.
    It took a few minutes of repeating the block change option several times to get clear, and now I get a message telling me to download Flash Player.
    I am leery of doing so, thinking this scenario will again manifest itself.
    Any thoughts?

    search conduit junk is commonly installed with dozens of different toolbars that many people actually give permission to install when the install various free programs.

    I suggest that you work thru the below so that we can better determine what is going on.

    Also are you manually downloading Flash Player from somewhere or is it an automatic update direct from Adobe?
